I once bought a McG kit but never installed it. I did have a non-autoride 2/4 Belletch kit on my Tahoe: http://i1052.photobucket.com/albums/s444/soulsea1/HyHoe/d1700a3a.jpg and http://i1052.photobucket.com/albums/s444/soulsea1/HyHoe/file_zps6c79c717.jpg but I took it off after a week because of how bad the ride was.

So today I was pleasantly surprised with the ride after the drop. It's actually like stock on the highway and very close to stock around town. Not sure if it's because of the Escalade stock suspension, maybe it's the DJM sway bars and hardware, or maybe the shop that did the Hybrid drop did something wrong, but I'm very very happy with this one.

A little heads up for anyone considering combining this Belltech drop with the Wilwood BBK kit ... you have to tell the shop to grind off a few mm off the front spindles to clear the calipers. It's very easy, affects nothing, and takes about half an hour, but it's worth noting so that the shop doesn't get surprised by it.

The shop did the grinding but still doesnt fit and now need 12mm spacers.......... I think my rims are a 30 offset but as long as they get it done right

Thanks evois.

No on the Hybrid all I did was delete the resonator and add side swept tips, no aftermarket muffler: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3M8vognkQk

I was apprehensive about the Corsa because it is really loud, especially at startup. Also because it uses the louder Sport muffler and not the tamer Touring one. But everyone familiar with the kit assured me that you'll hear it when you step on it, at cruising speed it is barely audible and absolutely zero drone at highway speeds ... this is in fact how it turned out, so I'm very happy with it.

Thanks B.

It took me forever to decide on which wheels to use, I literally investigated it over months and hundreds of models.

In the end, although the mods on this truck are now significant, I tried to preserve an OEMish quality to the end result, hence the OEM reps ... this combined with the fact that these rims I think complement the BBK kit nicely, were the main reasons I chose them.

On a side note, a funny and serendipitous thing happened ...

A bone stock version of my truck (as it was but a couple of days ago), same color and all, was driving away as I was taking a pic of mine.

It was literally the old going away and the new here captured in one pic ... very low odds of that happening me thinks. :)

Aliens!

Yup, that hybrid of mine was a sweet truck ... I don't think anyone has ever moded a GMT900 hybrid as much as I did. I have a sweet spot for that old girl, she was my first GMT900, and I've now owned three more since then. Too bad they stopped making them, just when times are actually catching up with a concept that was obviously ahead of its time.

But to be honest I love this truck more ... especially now. :)

If you buy the dual out bumper cover and hitch cover you can use your existing step pad and chrome trim.

Then you'd need to delete the spare (buy the emergency tire repair kit), buy the Corsa cat-back, and have the shop bolt it on. I believe that's all you need.

I believe there also a small bracket that's under the dual exhaust bumper that's not on the regular one that needs to be added, but I've seen many people not bother with it and it doesn't seem to affect anything.

If you contact http://oempartsdirectinc.com they answer all you questions and sell you the bumper at a great price ... tell them soulsea sent you. :)
