Two iPhone pics for now cause time was short ... more and better pics tomorrow and especially when I wash her and yank the spacers to get m0ar low in the back.
So today I was pleasantly surprised with the ride after the drop. It's actually like stock on the highway and very close to stock around town. Not sure if it's because of the Escalade stock suspension, maybe it's the DJM sway bars and hardware, or maybe the shop that did the Hybrid drop did something wrong, but I'm very very happy with this one.
A little heads up for anyone considering combining this Belltech drop with the Wilwood BBK kit ... you have to tell the shop to grind off a few mm off the front spindles to clear the calipers. It's very easy, affects nothing, and takes about half an hour, but it's worth noting so that the shop doesn't get surprised by it.

The shop did the grinding but still doesnt fit and now need 12mm spacers.......... I think my rims are a 30 offset but as long as they get it done right
I like the sound and the looks of that quad exhaust tips! did you have after market exhaust in your hybrid before? how did it sound? it sounds just like my range rover sport!
I was apprehensive about the Corsa because it is really loud, especially at startup. Also because it uses the louder Sport muffler and not the tamer Touring one. But everyone familiar with the kit assured me that you'll hear it when you step on it, at cruising speed it is barely audible and absolutely zero drone at highway speeds ... this is in fact how it turned out, so I'm very happy with it.
It took me forever to decide on which wheels to use, I literally investigated it over months and hundreds of models.
In the end, although the mods on this truck are now significant, I tried to preserve an OEMish quality to the end result, hence the OEM reps ... this combined with the fact that these rims I think complement the BBK kit nicely, were the main reasons I chose them.
Wuffffffff that mofo sounds gnarly!!!! I had the Touring on mine(will never buy any other exhaust aside from Corsa), Touring you dont really hear till WOT. Great taste in mods, looks outstanding...makes me think twice about wanting to trade my Lade in.
Yup, that hybrid of mine was a sweet truck ... I don't think anyone has ever moded a GMT900 hybrid as much as I did. I have a sweet spot for that old girl, she was my first GMT900, and I've now owned three more since then. Too bad they stopped making them, just when times are actually catching up with a concept that was obviously ahead of its time.
But to be honest I love this truck more ... especially now.
Great work! I like the way the mufflers look than stock chrome tips, as I was asking that question when I was looking for the bumper. If I got the bumper cover what else would I need?
If you buy the dual out bumper cover and hitch cover you can use your existing step pad and chrome trim.
Then you'd need to delete the spare (buy the emergency tire repair kit), buy the Corsa cat-back, and have the shop bolt it on. I believe that's all you need.
I believe there also a small bracket that's under the dual exhaust bumper that's not on the regular one that needs to be added, but I've seen many people not bother with it and it doesn't seem to affect anything.
If you contact http://oempartsdirectinc.com they answer all you questions and sell you the bumper at a great price ... tell them soulsea sent you.
