    Guess this is good-bye :(

    Today I sold Mr. Platinum..

I purchased a new 2013 Mercedes ML63...Black with performance package..twin turbo 550 hp so I guess I'm looking for a new forum and group to hopefully enjoy as much as you fellas here...It was a honor and pleasure and maybe our paths may cross some day soon.

    Keep the shiny side up...

    Over.

Enjoy your beautiful new Mercedes! As a stalwart Cadillac aficionado, though, my heart sank and I felt a pit in my stomach every time I traded or sold a Cadillac I owned. Hopefully you will be spared any similar feelings. Your Escalade was a stunning and spectacular vehicle. If you ever tire of the Mercedes, be sure to come back to the Cadillac fold!

550 horses through twin turbo will undoubtedly be exhillarating and fun. What a beast under the hood. That must be a horsepower difference of 147? A departure from the Escalade, indeed!

Actually my lade was supercharged to low 500 hp but the weight variance will certainly show.

Love the new ride. I am itching NOT to get rid of the caddy.... Love it for so many reasons! But wish it was a bit better.

According to that video, the Porsche best the Merc off-road.... However, I'd NEVER want to take it anywhere to get it dirty. They look nice, but they are both too small for my likings.

Good Luck, Mr. Murphy... Wish you the best with that pretty new ride!

    ----------

    Yup saw this video...3 things

    1) this video is the old style ML63..
    2) Merc nanny is too invasive for off-roading..I'll soon tweak
    3) only off road my ML will see will be our wagon trail streets here

Yep the only time mine goes off road is when I'm not paying attention! Which for some reason only happens when the wife is in the car.
