We have horrible roads over here in New Orleans and the car is smooth on the highway, but when I go through the city streets it's horrible. The whole car just shakes and rattles. I have 24's though on regular suspension. I had the 18's and absolutely the ride was smoother and it took bumps like no other. But at the same time at highway speeds and turns it lacked the stability and confidence that the lower profile tires give me.

    Hello,

I do have the same issue of uncomfortable driving on my escalade, I have 2009 model 22" rims, how do I know if its MRC suspension or normal shocks? I have Yukon Denali 2002 model and its more comfort on the bad roads funny

If your truck came factory with 22" you have magnetic ride control. If you are not sure than look in the door jam it will tell you if it came stock with 18"s or 22"

On 09, is it a Platinum? Do you have pwr running boards? Your vin # given to any dealer can confirm for you.

No mine is not a platinum, I don't know what is a power board!

If I give my vin number here, can the customer service in this forum tell?

Yes, customer service can get you a list of all tho options on your truck from the vin #. Also any cadilac service department can print out a list also.

    No problem,

After researching your VIN, I found that your 2009 Escalade is NOT equipped with magnetic ride control suspension.

    Thanks,

Surprise! I was under impression that the MRC was introduced on escalade starting 2008 or 2009 as a standard![COLOR="Silver"]

    check out this,

They are saying that MRC was made standard on all escalade models!
