    Looking for advice on buying a 2007 and up

    I have a 2003 regular escalade for the wife and 2006 ext for me. I know all the most common problems with these. What should I be looking for when buying a newer caddy. What is the difference between the years 2007 and up? I'm looking toward saving some bucks and getting a 3006. Is th

    i have an '08 and didn't do research as you did about differences between model years.
    if i am not wrong 07s and 08s are pretty much the same.
    in 09 you get magnetic controlled air shocks compared to regular air shocks.(not sure if they are any better)
    you also get blind zone alert signal on sideview mirrors.instead of dots on turn signal on mirrors they are like a straight line as well i believe.
    i personally don't care about shocks but i wish i had the blind zone alert feature on the mirrors with a truck this size.

    2007 wasn't the best year, I'd avoid a first model year. The newer the more refined, 2009 or up.

    As said above I would look at an 08' or 09' rather than an 07' only because it was the first year for the model change and there were a lot of wind issues and some trans issues in 07', more than the other years
