Special Thanks to Cadillac Forums Info. on what to do about cruise control worked.

I have a 2008 Escalade I am traveling from NYC to Miami and while I was driving I noticed the cruise control didn't work in NJ. So I got my Iphone and searched Cadillac Forums 2008 Escalade cruise control and a bunch of stuff came up. The one that caught my eye was the one that said brake light switch and a guy stated that he took it apart and cleaned it and it worked I guess it gets condensation inside of it from the AC floor controls. So I stopped it took me 10 min to do that and now I am in business thanks to this web site. I could not believe I did this quick and it worked. I was nervous that I would have broken the part and than I would have been in trouble but I took a shot.

This is a awesome info site, I would have never known that and I would have had to take it to the dealer and pay 300$ for parts and labor and loose my truck for a day also I wouldn't have had cruise control on the way down.

Search is probably the most under used feature in the forum. The info is here if people are willing to dig. That trip wouldn't have been much fun without cruise.
