    new engine 07

Why can't I buy a brand new engine for my 07 Escalade. I don't think I want a rebuilt or reman. If that is the only option, why don't I have mine rebuilt? What are the intelligent options for achieving the same service life as my original engine? Thank you.

Will an L94 engine fit in a 2007 escalade that came with the L92? How much labor costs are we looking at? My 2007 probably will need a new engine soon. Is it just a take out drop in installation?

The L92's are hard to find because they have been replaced by the L94, same basic engine will bolt in, you may need a new computer or reflash

As said we have several customers with well into the 200,000 mile plus with the stock engine still in their trucks

Some of the 07 model engines had valve break issues due to weak valves which were replaced with newer designs. Not sure if this is why he is looking at a new engine but this was the reason I was almost looking for a new engine myself until I agreed to just have new valves installed and the bent rod replaced.

There were some 116 engines issues with the intake valve on 2007 Escalade's, it was poor heat treating of the valves that caused this issue, most broke in the first month or two, I know because I had one explode in my garage, and GM replaced the truck very quickly.
