Re: 24" Cadillac Escalade Chrome Wheels Rims

I've been reading alot on wheels because I too want to put 24s. They say 295/35/24 don't rub and that a good brand are the nitto 420s or the yokohama Prada spec x. What I also read but an not really sure is if you don't have the power assisted steps then you can put a 305/35/24 tire and you won't have problems, BUT IM NOT SURE ON THAT ONE. What website are u buying those rims from?

If you post that you have them... Please post which size tires you are using and if you have power running boards or not.

    Thanks!

I do not have power running boards just the normal fixed ones on the base 2010 escalade. I think my tires are 305/35/24 nexxen roadians. I'll check but I don't frequent the forum much lately

Re: 24" Cadillac Escalade Chrome Wheels Rims

2009 with power assist at stock height 305/35/24 rubbed on boards @ full lock both directions. Once bagged and set down with a driving height of 2.5" lower up front and 3.5" lower rear, boards did not hit. The ride height put the crown of the tire in a different spot. It did rub pretty good on the fender liner.

Had the same wheels & tires on my burban they didn't hit the fixed boards at all. They did rub the fender liner in a similar fashion. Just heat gunned the liners to push them away to clear.

I have the assisted power steps and I get no rub on the front. The rear does rub. A little under full weight (all seats being used lol)

Yeah mine does too at full weight, that's a nice truck I like the stock black grill. I was thinking about selling my Asanti grill and getting the colored matched stock grill for mine.

I only have the grill not the side vents etc. I'm not sure I'm going to sell it yet. If I do it will prob be around $1500.00 since I paid over $3000 for it and its in great shape. Yeah I'm digging more of the stock look now, that's why I sold my 26s a few months ago.
