how many of you have painted calipers?

Just curious if you upgraded the entire brake system, added painted calipers and/or drilled/slotted rotors just for the look, how much it cost, etc. would love to see some pics as I am thinking of undertaking this mod; I think red calipers would look great on my white truck and between the spokes of my stock 22's. Any insight/suggestions would be appreciated and again, pics please, thanks!

This is apparently the best quality caliper paint: http://www.g2usa.com

Personally I'm not much for mods that pretend to be something they're not, so it's either a Wilwood/Brembo/Baer BBK or leave the calipers (color wise) alone ... otherwise it just looks cheap and half assed just like the caliper covers that some people get on their fartcanned 95 Civics. Of course those BBKs are expensive so obviously not for everyone, but then again, neither are Escalades.

Oh and in regards to upgrading brake components for performance without breaking the bank, all the feedback I have seen on these guys seems overwhelmingly positive: http://www.r1concepts.com

+1 for R1Concepts. Bought a set of cross drilled/slotted and am real happy with them. Great customer service also.

As for painting....... I think it looks cheap. If it were a nice descent one piece calliper it look descent, but I have painted my 09 Sierra Denali Calipers before and regretted it after. Just get nice rotors and leave it.
