I should smack you in the face This has nothing to do with an iPhone...you see me showing Android in my truck and actually think I would disgrace it with an iPhone? There is iNothing getting near my truck or my house for that matter. The only phone in my truck is the one I am recording the video with...and it's a Galaxy Nexus.

But yes, what you see on the screen can be run while sitting still or moving as long as you have some type of dvd by-pass installed, which I do. So while moving (or sitting still) you can watch Netflix, Slingplayer, listen to pandora, browse the web...whatever..as long as you have a network connection in your vehicle, which I do.

That is awesome. I wonder if you can custom-mount a small touchpad somewhere in the console area for the cursor so the driver could easily navigate. Very neat idea, I will pursue the same in my truck.

I have an idea I am going to try over the next couple of days that may make it easier to control. We'll see if it works. Although the external keyboard/touchpad combo is actually not difficult to use as the driver.

So it looks like you might have a android phone or tablet hooked up to the rear auxiliary.

There's an idea, but nah that's not exactly what this is.

The only phone is the one I'm recording with and there is no tablet in use.

I can do the same thing if I have my phone hooked up to rear entertainment a/v connections. I use a hdmi converter to a/v (yellow, red, white) plugs and power inverter for hdmi converter, since converter needs power. I also have a barracuda installed for video in motion.

So you have a Bluetooth pad/ keyboard, to control the phone or tablet.
Oh I forgot you don't have phone or tablet hooked up to truck. How are you doing this Houdini???

Yea I didn't want to go the HDMI converter route either (because it requires power even though I currently have an inverter hard wired in my truck) so I went another way. I also now have the ability to control this now using my cell phone, which is cool. So even though I have the external keyboard/touchpad combo thing, I don't have to use it anymore.

I want to do a video of it, but it's not installed where I want it to be permanently yet. I just kind of have it rigged up. I just wanted to give a good overview of everything at one time.
