    Brake upgrade

Hey I know there is a few threads out there about brakes, but I can't seem to find anything solid about it. I am looking to upgrade my brakes as they are starting to squeal. I don't wanna spend a couple g's to upgrade them as I don't think I need to for a daily driver and don't wanna get something like cheap eBay rotors that will warp and get major brake dust like there's no tomorrow. I appreciate any responses.

    Thanks

The best replacement rotors and pads I have found and used on several on my Escalade's (that did not get big brakes on them) was with EBC 6000&7000 brake pads, EBC 3GD rotors (slotted and dimpled) Goodridge ss brake lines and dot 4 fluid, just works great and better stopped distance compared to stock

Any thoughts as to Baers Eradispeed +1 kit for the Escalade vs that EBC replacement combo ?

I've had the Baer kit on a previous 03 Yukon Denali. I never liked that the pad only reached 3/4 of the way down the rotor but it still worked better than stock. I also had the Wilwood BBK on my 06 but I don't want to drop 7k again just yet.

I am for the baer eradispeed +1 for the front and rear, get Hawk HP pads and you will be set.

I had them on my truck till i found a front and rear brembo kit for under $3,000. I then gave my baer kits to a friend who punishes them daily with no issues.

Best set of rotors to be used with stock calipers...

I have the brake performance slotted and dimpled rotors with hawk lts pads. I like the combo and once warmed up the braking is great. But the first time I brake each morning they feel like it doesnt grip as well

Yep its common. They need a little heat in them to work. Always told the wife to take it easy at that first stop sign...

I'm running the EBC cross drilled and slotted rotors on mine with the green pads and they do great. I'm fixing to put some yellow pads on next and see how they do.
