That may happen when they change the body style. Also different warranty, not as long, real disadvantage for resale

I just picked up a 2014 Platinum Midnight Plum for the wife. She loves the color. It looks black from some angles with little to no light. When the light shines on it you can see the plum coming through the black looks like a slight fushcia. It should stand out just a little from all the White Diamond Tricoats and Black Ravens in the area. This should hold her over until 2016 after the new model has had a full run. Looking forward to the 2015 model.

After I give it a nice wash this weekend I will post some pics.

yeah thats a really nice color from what i have seen online... i really would like it, but I could probably paint our 2012 for cheaper than what i have 'lost' already from ownership!

Are referring to depreciation or have you had issues with your 2012?

Do you think that the alleged $90,000 tag on the 2015 will help slow down our models depreciation?

I have to say I am pretty impressed with the Escalades resale value. I have been driving my last three for about the same dollar depreciation as a CTS.

The only one of the 12 I did really well on was the black ice 2010, paid 59k (17k off sticker) and 17 months later they gave my 56k on my trade to the first platinum, that was my once in a lifetime deal

$90k? Yeah for the platinum. The prices are going to be around the same as they are now. Maybe a few grand higher.

I was referring to the platinum. The price is jumping up a minimum of $5,000 for each model.
