    ESV Middle Row Center Console

How many ESV owners have the middle row center console between the buckets? It seems to be pretty rare as I haven't seen many. The ESV I bought has one which works very well for my fleet company. Just curious to know how many others have them.

Re: ESV Middle Row Center Console

My 2010 ESV came new with it and I instantly took it out.
With two kids in car seats in the rear buckets it made it virtually impossible to get into the 3rd row.
I'm looking forward to the kids being out of car seats so that I can put it back in and give them some storage and cup holders.
I didn't realize it was rare.

I like it because of the extra storage and easy reach cup holders for my passengers. I looked at several hundred ESV's before finding this one for the fleet and I don't think any of the others had the console. Mine showed up on the original bill of sale as a dealer installed option along with the body color grill which I didn't really like in the beginning but has grown on me.

I'm not sure I would qualify it as a rare option. It can be purchased through GM, if memory serves correctly, it is approximately $300-400. I think the "rarity" of the console is simply that people don't know about it. i considered one for my car but the colors were not offered.

And it would look 1,000 times better if it looked like the front console. (same lid, wood grain, etc)

^^^I agree 100%. In reality, it was probably an after thought that was taken from the Tahoe or Denali

It doesn't match any of the SUVs... It's like it was a complete afterthought and just went with something generic. Definitely missed a god opportunity with the console

Yes they did, I more than likely would've purchased one if it matched my Platinum.

Re: ESV Middle Row Center Console

While I agree it's not a great match for the front console I'll take it over the other option, which is nothing.

As for rarity, take a look at the ones for sale.....you won't find many with it, not that the fact a truck has one makes it any more valuable. I needed one for my fleet and was lucky enough to find one.

It uses the same bolts that hold the rear buckets in.
You may have to cut slits in your floor carpet.

Re: ESV Middle Row Center Console

It's an accessory ... very few vehicles are ordered from the factory with accessories pre-installed so it would technically be very rare, but anyone can just go to their favorite dealer and buy one ... which makes it not very rare at all... just rare that people want it or know about it enough to pay for it and install it (that is if they like it in the first place)
