    Noice from front left !!!!

    I bought a 2008 escalade 4 days ago

when i kick down the gas pedal i (knock) sound is coming from the front left of the car( no sound comes when you normally eccelarete)

I took the car to official service and they told me that this is a chronic problem of escalade

I wonder does anybody have the same problem ??????

Check the bottom of the shock where it bolts to the lower control arm. The bushing could be worn out. Also it may be the front left body mount which is cheaper. Let me know if that's it. My truck needs both replaced. You will also feel one thump in your steering when that shock is really bad if you are going on and off the gas or hitting the brakes. Let me know when that starts.
