    chrome hooks

I finally bought the 2010 Lade today. I bought chrome hooks at the dealer. Do the old ones simply unbolt and pull through the front of the bumper? I thought I could do these myself instead of paying the dealer. By the way, it is a black on black luxury with DVD (I will never use)

I'm not sure, but you may have to remove the square black surrounds before pulling the hooks out.

The one side is a pain compared to the other side, I put chrome tow hooks on all my trucks, did my 10' yesterday, they unbolt, I pulled them thru the front surround and bolted the new ones in, on a lift it took me about 20 minutes. Congrats on your new truck.

    Hey HCVONE,

I do not have a lift, were you able to use air tools on the passenger side. I could remove the bolt with the nut on it, but I could not get the other one loose. I do not have an air rachet, but could borrow one. Otherwise, it may be eaiser to pay the dealer.
