2007 escalade headrest dvd

first off i'm new here and wanted to say hi. i purchased a 2007 escalade a week ago. i'm about to install a set of headrest dvd's and was wondering how do i get the wiring through the seat? thanx for any info that you can give me!

Hey welcome!!!
I am doing the same thing as you.......i just wired them through the seat like this:
on the back of the seats; pull up the middle piece from the bottom and there are 2 clips on the bottom 2 clips on the right side and 2 clips on the left side; the clips pop right out just make sure you pull the piece up hard, makes the process easier!

Hi Louisquinones...those are headrest. Are they OEM? If so...what did you pay for them?

They are OEM and i paid $750 on ebay

I have those OEM headrest screens in my Escalade and the left one just stopped working. No power or anything

Any ideas?

Hello Im late on this forum but i have the same setup and everything works. But i would like to play a dvd on the nav deck and see the video on the 2 headrests anyone knows how to get this done I read somewhere that all I need to do is buy a plug to plug in on the back of the deck and plugs into the headrest but I can't find it any help would be appreciated.

And my left headrest screen stopped working. Any ideas guys?

That is what I have and it works great....I have no idea with your monitor not getting power...I would trace the wires and see if you have a cut somewhere...if not calling the manufacture of the monitors would be your best bet.

I took it to the dealer and they first said they were aftermarket. I told them they are not aftermarket and we got them installed after. They said it's out of warranty and we can't repair it
