    Leveling Susupension on Escalade

    2007 Escalade, AWD
Looking for recomendations to manually control the ELC system when pulling a heavy trailer.
Are their any after markets systems that I can interface with the CVRSS/ELC sytem so I can control the rear shocks separately and approx. 2 or 3 inches lower than normal.

Never seen anything made to do what you are looking to do, if you find anything please post the info, thanks I pull a heavy trailer and the back levels pretty good, of course unloaded it's about 2" higher than you want

The Europe section of GM (Vauxhall and Opel) on there estate cars (same as BMW 5 touring) had auto leveling at the back (pump with shocks) and there where links from the chassis to the rear swing arms on both sides, it would work out how low the car was then pump up (or down) as needed to keep the back level (was back only).

I would think your need to find an aftermarket that has links, computer then connects to the "up/down" system... wouldnt be to hard, however has anyone made one????

The car was an Omega Estate from about 2001 to 2005 i think (estate only).

    Many Thanks

    Re: Leveling Susupension on Escalade

    OK, I'll bite...why???

The auto load leveling suspension system is about perfect, especially for towing. Having towed the same trailer with a truck that does have it and one that doesn't, it's day and night. And add-on air-bags on trucks that don't have auto-leveling is likewise no comparison.

That's not a feature I'd recommend trying to manually override, especially in a towing scenario. Things could go sideways and get yard sale ugly super fast. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...
