    06 vs. 09 Wheel Offset

Will the wheels from my 06 fit my 09? I recall reading that there was a difference in offset but do not remember if it precluded 06 rims (platinum 20s)
from fitting the later models. Thanks in advance. Joe

I don't know what the offset is for the 20's, the 17's from 2003 were 15 mm if I remember correctly, and the 2007 and up is 31 mm

Thumbs up Re: 06 vs. 09 Wheel Offset

Answering my own question but I thought it might help someone else in the future. Yes 20 inch GM wheels from the previous model 03-06 (mine are from the Platinum edition) will fit the newer body style (07-09) with out rubbing. The tires stick out a little more than stock but not enough to need flares. The offset is not enough to cause any clearance issues on the road. I have yet to take it off road but will report back on that afterward.

No, they are not the same but the difference (about 15mm) is small enough not to make a difference in this case.

I concur, if you have bigger wheels on the older escalades there's a very good chance they might stick out on the newer ones. I know this for myself hence why I had to sell my 24's. In this case the older stock ones were interchangable because they were already sitting so far in the wheel wells to begin with which made them fit ok on the newer escalades.
