I'm not sure if i want another EXT or an ESV. Its completely paid for too. Its good that it should be released during the summer because I leave for my sophomore year of college in mid/late August. Im just kind of stuck on whether to get an EXT or ESV?? |

| | Cadillac Owners Member Cadillac(s): Cadillac | | | | | Re: 2010 Escalade? Thats a pretty drastic change, I really like the current design. I REALLY hope that the 2010's will have a few changes and really important to me is higher quality!! I really wish they could use REAL wood. I'm tired of looking and feeling that "plasticy" wood. The leather panel on my console was starting to peel off and you could see the glue, but thankfully I got it replaced when I got my door lock fixed. My 08 doesnt have express-up windows which really annoys me, I dont understand why they wouldnt put that in in a $67k truck. Also my sisters BMW X5 has an electronic sunroof shade, which I really wish I could have instead of sliding it open by hand, which is just another opinion of mine that I think a 70k luxury SUV should have. I'm still stuck on whether to trade in my 08 EXT for a 2010 ESV or stick with a '10 EXT?? |

I like my EXT because the configuration suits my needs perfectly.
But I never realized how much better I could see out the side and back of my EXT until I drove a regular Escalade for a week.
The rear seats and headrests block most of the view in the ESV and regular Escalade,.. a lot compared to the EXT.
I had the rear sets folded down all the time so I could see better.
Since you've have the EXT you'll see what I mean if you test drive a ESV. |

They just did all the updates to the 2009 Escalade, so why would GM spend money right now to implement more changes/updates when they don't have the money to spend and on a vehicle very few are buying in these tough economic times?
If you are waiting for changes to the 2010 model year Escalade, don't hold your breath. I would bet anything nothing is going to be updated or changed on the Escalade until the new body style is released.

If any of you were waiting for something new and big with the aging Escalade for 2010,, Bad news just opposite Escalade lovers. I got this response on the new 2010 Escalade, higher price,, and tons of things removed, and leather items replaced with vinyl!!! So keep your old ones or buy the last good one, the 2009. Heck, even the engine is available in almost all GM pickups. Depressing. Looks like my way better equipped 2007 EXV will get replaced with the competition. Depressing.
