08 escalade sunroof

new escalade owner....already left the sunroof open once .. luckily no rain..is there any alarm,autoclose or anything to remind me to look up and close it before i get robbed or ruin the interior?

I always make it a habit to close the sun-shade part on my sunroof when I park. Keeps the interior from heating up, and I have to look up to make sure the glass is closed.

I might be wrong, but some newer cars have the rain sensing feature on the sunroof. If the sensor detects rain, it'll close the roof. Not sure if your escalade has that feature though.

No. Same deal if you leave your windows open, hatch open , hood up, doors open, wallet on the seat. It is a mistake you usually only make once anyway, assuming it rains.

well yes it does have a light that will come on the dash, if you leave the sun roof open while it is raining and it rains enough outside it will cause the electrical boxes under the passenger front seat to short out and turn the lights on the dash on......LOL I am just joking, it does not have anything to tell you. Hope you dont get caught with it open in the rain, if you forget it you will have a mess...

Big mess. Been there. Like I said. It is a mistake you only make once. Car leather smelled like wet cow for a month.

It's been -20 all winter with constant snow and freezing rain. I miss those days I opened my roof.
