Tough to tell but almost looks like wear and tear, I see this on many cars where the owners live near the shore where there is a lot of sand, the sand overtime sandblasts items like emblems because the finish is not as tough as the paint on the car/truck

Red and blue are the fastest fading colors in the spectrum (afaik)
You can buy the crests and replace them easily.
Check with Luke for pricing.
I have replaced front ones and rear ones.
They just have double stick adhesive on them.

wow what a random post I just went through this on my 07, when I bought it the red was extremely faint on the back emblem almost like someone had tried to remove it, I had to have the badge replaced under warranty from the dealer. |
