Angry 2007 Escalade will not Start

Remove this ad
I disconnected the battery while I was unhooking a power amplifier and external speakers. After I finished my Escalade will not start. All the lights on the dash come on, the Radio works, Back up camera works, head lights and tail lights work but the starter will not engage. It is like the ignition key code has become deactivated. Is there a way to reprogram this or is it a dealer function only or have I done something elso so it won't start.

How long was it disconnected? If not very long, try unhooking the battery for 5 minutes and then try, again.

Re: 2007 Escalade will not Start

It was only unhooked for about 2 minutes so I tryed what you said and left it unhooked for about 5 min but still the same so I unhooked it and left it for about 1 hour and just tried it again and still nothing. Except taking it to the dealer does anyone have any other suggestions.
Thanks

Re: 2007 Escalade will not Start

I have disconnected my batteries several times on both trucks and never had a starting issue.
