Magnetic Ride Control (MRC)

I'm wondering if anyone has test drove one yet? I'm curious as to how much of a difference it is. I'm thinking I might test drive one if I can find one in my area...Didnt see any in 20 miles, may have to go farther...I've read that it is much better than the original suspension...Currently its only available for the 08 Platinum, but will be added to the 09 model year....

Also, will it be possible to put it on a vehicle that doesnt have it? If so, it might be something to look into...

You also have to use 22's with the new F55, not sure why, waiting on two dealers to get one in to try out, should be in the next week or two

I recall a similar limitation with the MRC option on the SRX. If I recall, you could only get MRC with the 17s or 18s, but not with the 20s that come with the sport appearance package. MRC is great by the way for those who don't know about it.... Can't wait to hear reports on how it affects the Lade ride.

Re: Magnetic Ride Control (MRC)

It works nice on the Corvette, but would rather have Penske adjustables anyway, but it must work pretty well because the 100k plus ZR1 Corvette comes with it, and only that choice

Re: Magnetic Ride Control (MRC)

Nice video, but too bad it's old and shown on previous generation GM vehicles.

I would like to see the same video showing the new Escalade, STS and C6 Corvette.

I am sure GM has implemented newer technology over what was available back in 2002. I can't wait until I get my 2009 Escalade, so I can really compare the suspension over our 2007 Escalade.

Re: Magnetic Ride Control (MRC)

Interesting idea, and this is standard on 2009+?

I assume they still have auto leveling at the back?

Also what ever happened to the air outlet in the back of the trucks?

Many Thanks
Ashley

Make sure you let us know how it is after you've had a chance to live with it for awhile .

I believe it to be standard on the Platinum 2008 models and also all 2009's and up....I'm assuming Auto Leveling is still incorporated as well...

Air outlet on the back? Maybe someone can answer that?
