I just purchased my Escalade a few weeks ago and the battery keeps draining after 3-4 days of sitting in the garage. I hardly drive it (maybe every 4-5 days), but I really don't think that is causing the problem. I have only done two electrical mods: 1.) I installed the Peripheral PXAMG iPod integration kit. 2.) I installed LED dome lights. Both of these installs are plug-and-play, so there is no cutting/splicing wires. I even tried leaving my iPod unplugged after each time parking the truck (because I thought the constant power from the PXAMG charging the iPod was the problem), but the battery still drained from 90% to 25% in 3 days.
I have had the Peripheral kit installed in my 07 Av and a few weeks ago I put a new one in my 08 EXT. Absolutely no problems with the battery whatsoever.
I had issues with my 07's running the battery down and having to jump the truck to start it after working on them with the doors open or the radio playing for a long time, of course the stock Delco batteries are poor at best. I installed dual batteries and never had another problem.

to specualte any type of diagnosis in this case would be plain silly. your factory battery is very good despite what may be said. the ONLY way to determine the problem would be to perform a parasitic load test and find out why the battery runs dead with the vehicle off. between all the modules on the vehicle there is a limited draw from your battery at all times, the actual reserve capacity on this vehicle will be somewhere in the 17-19 day range meaning realistically the normal draw on your battery could bring you down to 50% reserve after that period of time. performing a load test and removing fuses for the suspected circuit is the correct wasy to diag this

I will disagree 100% about the facory battery being "very good", in 35 GM cars/trucks I have had to replace or have replaced under warranty 26 of the 35 batteries, I do not keep cars/trucks over 2 years, far from very good if you ask me. In 26 Grand Cherokee's I have replaced 3 batteries, much better ratio
