new EXT owner here- greetings

i took delivery on thursday of my new EXT. black / cashmere
i trade cars and trucks often and went in for a test drive knowing the market was soft....
anyway it was impressive but i already had an 07 mark LT and really liked it... but towards the end of the test drive, my salesman said-oh have you tried the paddles?????
schawingggggg and all those horsies...
something tells me i'm going to get a lot of puff daddy talk from family and friends... too bad i dig it...
first time on a caddy forum.... here it is, next to the Z06...

Welcome, I too just got a Black/cashmere EXT (also have a C6, but it is Precision Red). The longer I have this thing the more I like it. Looks like you got the ultra luxury also. Only mods, V1 and K&N. Again welcome, I hope you like your truck as much as I do mine.
Also Zainoed already, going to use the Zaino All In One.

first thanks to all for the welcome- and I guess paddles was not quite the right word as in porsche paddles, but I meant the manual shift button on the stick...

and i should add that after 5 days, this truck has instantly grown on me- what a killer way to travel...

but i hate xm.... and really miss my sirius....

Funny, I just spent a week driving an S550 with Sirius, and could not wait to get back to XM. I guess it is all what you are used to.

I used my manual shift mode the first week I had the truck only. I will give it another try based on your remarks.
