Transmission Problems?

I just bought a new 08 escalade and it has transmission problems from the start. When putting the car in drive it takes 4 seconds to engage! And it also seems to not know when to shift under any acceleration. It also was stuck in 3rd gear and would not shift out until I shut down the car and restarted it. It only has 400 miles on it.

Anybody have and simular problems?

Welcome to the Forum.

Some of the early 07's did things like you describe, it was fixed with a trans update thru the computer, I would have the dealership look at it, and you never know it could be a bad unit, only takes one bad part out of the hundred in there.
