Front cup holder question

is there a way to remove the front cup holders to clean them? I am able to remove the rear one, but not the front. Thanks

I seem to recall just yanking the cup holder really hard - I will check when I leave the offcie.

The rubber liner comes out, on my '07 anyway. Get a toothpick or fingernail in behind the top of the rubber and work it out. Not too difficult. I left the liner out because it's too tight for most cups. Threw it in a box with about 20 other things that will have to go back in when the lease it up. Tired of fiddling with those center console doors that don't want to open? You can remove the little button-sized friction devices, then the doors pop right open. Pull up the center console panel to get to them. See instructions elsewhere on this forum.
