When I lived in Switzerland I saw the smallest cars on earth, my lawn tractor had larger tires than many of the cars over there.

I had an 87 Chevy Sprint with 12 inch tires....something like 55 HP I think too...... Good car for when we first got married. Enabled us to eat Kraft Mac & Cheese too, versus generic. |

Crazy gas mileage and pretty darn reliable. At the same time , we had a 1988 Chevy Nova (Toyota engine) that I am positive had 74 HP. Due to weight differences, the Sprint was actually faster...uh...I mean less slow. When we upgraded in 1993 to a new Olds Cutlass Supreme, it had 140 HP, 0-60 in about 10-11 seconds, and felt like a Vette to us. My oh my how times have changed....
Now that I am side tracked, the base HP of my 07 Lade is one horsepower MORE than my 88 Nova (74 HP), 93 Cutlass(140 HP), and 1994 Lexus ES300 (188) COMBINED. I love my Lade.......

I could almost fit that midget in the pick up bed of my truck. My god, I wonder what I'll be driving 10 years from now? |

Cheapest (ie slowest) new car at the time. What a difference 20+ years makes. 07 Escalade is just an amazing car. The whole family loves the car. |

1st car 1773 Mercury Comet (bought used in 1986) had 230,000 miles, yes that's correct 230K was a straight 6 250 I think.....when I traded it in it had one dead cylinder and one at 85 (if memory serves me it should be 125) The dealer gave me........ ready for this........ One whole dollar for trade in, said they had to give me something for their books. Can't say I miss that car, had blankets for the winter as the heater coil was dead. Use to have to scrape the ice off the inside of the windshield too
