What did your Escalade replace?

Like the title says, what vehicle did your current Escalade replace and why?

Mine replaced a HUMMER H2 because the lease was up and I wanted to try something different.

Range Rover HSE, because the warranty ran out and it was breaking down all the time.

My 03' Escalade replaced a 01' Suburban, my 07' Escalades replaced my 03'

07 Escalade replaced 03 Tahoe. Could not stand the seats in the Tahoe any more. They took out the adjustable lumbar support for 03. I had to get one of those stiff folding inserts to sit on. Suffered with that for about 2 years. Seemed like you could only get lumbar from GM on the top end leather seats. Here in Southern Cal, I don't care for leather seats but seat cooling on the Escalade tipped the scales and I went for it. So far, it has worked well.

2006 SRX AWD V8. REALLY great car, but not a truck. The SRX had replaced my 01 Tahoe LT Autoride. Turns out, I missed my truck so when a lease takeover fell into my lap, I took it and have never looked back! I love my Lade.

07 Escalade Replaced an 04 Merc CLK.
Totaly different cars, but love the change.

My 07 ext replaced an F150 Lariat. Woww! What a difference, in every way. That Ford P/U was beating me to death on the road. My work radius expanded recently so I was looking for a truck with a better ride but could still tow and haul well.

The avalanche would have been a nice improvement but I rented a DTS for a summer road trip to NC and it had air conditioned seats. The ride plus the seats and XM made the long distance drive actually enjoyable. After that I knew I had to get some air conditioned seats. The EXT came with the seats.

I have to say I love my truck. Beautiful, comfortable, powerful, and so far, reliable.

My 07 EXT replaced a Chrysler 300 C SRT8. The car was totaled while sitting at a red light with my wife my 2 year old twins and me inside. After that my wife insisted on a truck. I'm very happy with my EXT.
