Re: What did your Escalade replace?

2008 Esky ESV replaced an '03 Expedition 4X4 EB. I find it interesting that very few Ford owners are showing up here! I guess it's a loyalty thing. I had three Expeditions, the first , a 97 was great, zero probs, the second, an '00 was OK, but had a few probs, and the '03 had numerous electronic problems, hence the reason for trading.
Chose the ESV because wanted the added room and interstate cruising, but the GMC and Chevy was not know for reliability. The Caddy had excellent consumer ratings. We'll see!

Re: What did your Escalade replace?

Mine may be the most unusual replacement. I sold my 69 z28 and was going to buy a new camaro, but I have been waiting about two years.
Sat in a new g8 and then a new ext and I found the car to low and the seats too hard. Love my new truck.

Re: What did your Escalade replace?

My daily driver used to be my '99 Eldorado ETC, but it went down for repairs for awhile, so I started driving my wife's '07 SRX. While the ETC was down, I bought and '06 Escalade ESV and had been driving it daily. Just fixed the ETC and will probably drive it more, but I really love the ESV!!!
