My 2007 EXT replaced an 05 Ford Excursion Diesel 4x4 Limited with a 4" lift kit. A total beast of a truck. I'm very happy with the switch. Before that I had an 04 Avalanche Z71, which I loved. |

My 07 ESV replaced a 99 Dodge Durango. The Durango served my wife well with 3 little kids. Kids are getting bigger and we needed the room!!! Also we were looking for something that had a helluva lot more style and bling to go with the extra room. The Escalade fit it!!

My 07 ESV (black/black, 22's, motorized running boards) replaced my 05 ESV (Riptide Blue/Tan - MAN did I LOVE that color!!) which replaced an 03 Denali XL (Pewter/grey). Still have the 86 TransAm in the garage. Wife drives an 03 Beetle Turbo 1.8L, which will become our daughter's in a couple of months (Yikes! A teenage driver!). I'm trying to steer her into a CTS.
And I've already made note to my friendly Cadillac salesman that I will be purchasing an 09 CTS-V when they become available! |

Our 2007 Escalade replaced our 2005 Escalade. We sold our 2005 Escalade quick and wanted to upgrade to the new 2007 body style.
We are going to replace our 2007 Escalade in a few months when the 2 year lease expires and go with a 2009 Escalade or 2009 Escalade Hybrid or maybe even the platinum edition.

My Escalade Replaced a Toyota 4Runner Limited, my husband drove a charger and he just traded that in on an Impala SS, If Chrysler could produce a quality product we might have stayed in the brand, but GM all the way, I'm still considering the upgrade to an ESV though and my baby has alittle over 50k on her now.. |

I think I'm the first to say that my Escalade replaced a sedan instead of an SUV. It replaced an Acura 3.2 CL. |

More like a stellar AWD wagon, but not quite an SUV in my eyes. |

Good Read... So yes i'm bored but i did some counting and not including the 'my escalade didn't replace anything' replies; here is a brand loyalty breakdown:
Number of people that stayed with GM: 22
Number of people that went to GM from another brand: 13 (including me!)
