Does anyone know, does the truck have a controlled alternator (BMW does this), i highly dought it as means you would need to reprogram it with the secodn battery install so it knows to charge twice the amount.
If so sounds like toys power down issues and a controller. My old BMW (750iL) would run through batteries every 12-16 months by design, and they would just kill over night almost where they where at the limit of usage as there where so many toys in the car that would stay powered on 15 mins after you get out the car (by design).
I intend to put a second battery on just out of the fact you can, however i will be abit carful here to make sure the truck also has the correct working with regards programming making sure it works on 1 first.
Many Thanks |

Many Thanks | BMW's eat batteries more that any car I have ever owned, and they use good batteries from the start, and they are the most expensive to replace if you can even find them |

Use Battery Tender on all vehicles which greatly extends battery life. Last Harley battery lasted for 4 years before replacement. Last BMW battery lasted for 5 years before replacment and got a Bosch replacement at PEP Boys for less than $100. |

VERY nice car, had to replace the battery 6 months after i bought it second hand, 2-3 years later when i sold it, another battery...
Its all the gear on standby, i was told the new 750iL had 2 batteries, not sure about the one just out this year though....
Sort of put me off as would like a car that large to start, and the batteries dies overnight almost...
Many Thanks

Ashley | My M6 and 650i needed new batteries in the first 6 months, they were under warranty, just strange they only lasted that long |

These parts should cost you about $116.00, it looks stock and you will should never have another battery issue. I have schematics but you can not really see much, e-mail me at carl@hcvind.com and I will send them to you | Did you use a solonoid/isolator? If not, have you experienced and decrease in the battery performance. I hear not using the solonoid/isolator may cause some issues. |

No solonoid or isolator, I copied the Police Tahoe setup |
