Headlamp Washer 2008 Escalade?

Changing a fuse on my 2008 Escalade ESV and I see a 20A fuse under the hood labeled "Headlamp washer". I certainly don't have it and I never saw it as an option and I do not see it as an option on the Cadillac web site. What's this about? I read in another thread for another car that in Europe, HID headlamps by law require washers, perhaps the circuit is there for them alone?

Man I tell you , I live in Europe and didn't see any washers on any Escalades here with European specs , ( ok there are like ten of them here ).

I am sooooo glad they don't have that feature .

My 08' SRX has headlight washers the nice thing they will only wash if the headlights are on, and after 5 windshield washes

Exactly! My 06 SRX had them too - if I hit the window washer while in my garage accidentally, the headlight washers sprayed colored fluid all over my beige walls. As well it colored the front of my Diamond White SRX green or blue - there was no way to wash the windsheild at night (with lights on) without washing the headlights too. I thought about completely disabling them, but never got around to it.

I was going to disconnect them, but the 08' seemed better than the earlier models, we will see
