Even with the seat lowered all the way, my head is still brushing the roof. Yes, I have a sunroof.
Does anyone know if it is possible to drop the seat mounts to get another inch or two of headroom? It appears the rails the seat assembly rides on are at least an inch off the floor, maybe a bit more.
Any help would be really appreciated. |

Any help would be really appreciated. | I'm only 5' 7" but that's the first thing I noticed in my 07 and I thought the same thing,.. lower the seat.
Looking at the seat brackets it looks like there's room to lower the seat but, there isn't.
Under the 'center" of the seat on the floor, there's a hump on the floor from the AC/Heat tube that directs air to the back.
It's almost touching the underneath of the seat and you'll see there's no spare room to lower the seat.
Short of thinning out the foam in the seat bottom I don't see a fix.
Just my observation. |

I'm 6'6 and everytime I spike up my hair it always presses against the roof. I also find the legroom to be limited especially since I wear size 18s. |

The Cadillac website says the Escalade has 41 inches of front seat headroom and it has nowhere near that. I'm very disappointed. |

I have a sunroof and if was any taller than 6'2" ( I am approx 6'0"), I would definitely start thinking about a sunroof delete. |

In my experience if your wallet is fat enough you can always find a person to do the work you want, and do it right. BTW there should be some way possible as numerous NBA and NFL players purchase these vechicle and they are much larger than the average buyer.

Ive caught myself brushing it more than once. I always find myself trying to lower it but it just wont go lower.
Ive seen our NBA & NFL Players driving them here, but they tilt the seat waaaaaay back!!!! |

Yup. One of my partners played college hoops and is NBA size. He pushes the seat way back and tilts it way back in his Suburban. Ironically, he fits a little better in his S550. Still has to tilt back, but not quite as much. |
