Does ANYONE have a suggestion for a slightly shorter antenna? I have an aftermarket one right now from an auto parts store but it really does not screw down correct? HELP please. Someone else has got to be having this problem! |

I've had mine hit the roof on some parking garages a few times. What is the exact ride height of the 07-08 escalades anyways? I think the lowest clearance I've been in is 6'8" so far. |

See it?
I listen to AM/FM maybe 1% of the time I'm the car. The rest of the time is either XM, iPod, or CD. I could probably do without the stupid antenna. |

That's crazy that they can't use the same antenna as the base Lade (ie eliminate the old school antenna) For Pete's sake, my 6 year old SLS does not have a wire antenna....heck, I don't even think my 1999 Chrysler LHS did either. I thought that was amazing ...IN 1999!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Then you can either fill and paint or stick a small sticker over the hole! http://autoloc.carshopinc.com/produc...ts_id/9206/HAB |

You can likely just buy an OEM replacement plastic piece designed for the base Lade. I don't see why it would be any different. But if I am wrong, see above! |
