Purchased a 14 inch billet with black powder coat for $17 on ebay. Works and looks great.

Im not sure, but I just barely sqeak in my garage 6'6. The shark fin ant on the roof gets very close to the cieling...hehehe

Re: Anyone found a shorter radio antenna

Got tired of the massive antenna on my EXT rubbing at the parking garage so I removed the antenna. I park in a 6'5" garage. Its quite CLOSE... actually, I'm seriously considering dropping my EXT 1-2". Most garages in downtown are quite LOW.

Anyways, the reception without the antenna SUCKS. I bought this 14" billet antenna from ebay. Its a VERY nice looking antenna with GREAT reception. BUT I HIGHLY recommend you don't buy it. At around 65mph+ you get quite a bit of wind noise. Now trying to figure out what todo. Maybe I'll do the hidden one. On the EXT, we got screwed. No led taillights and no hidden antenna. Oh well, still LOVE my EXT!!!
