It has a nice tone to it and I may have gotten 5 h.p out of it. The support bracket broke off after about 3 years. No big deal but the "million mile warranty", well...It took 3-4 phone calls to get someone to call me back and I had to pay shipping to return my exhaust. About fifty bucks...otherwise I like it.

I have had several sets of both, probably a few more Corsa sets, I was more pleased with Corsa's fit and finish, liked the Borla sound but it caused some interior drone, no drone with Corsa.

If Borla could get rid of the interior resonance, they would have the best system on the market. Borla's systems do free up more hp and tq over Corsa. I can tell you that for sure.

Interior drone is pretty much a deal breaker for me. Honestly the HP gains are very very very low on the priority list for me when I get an exhaust. A ~400hp v8 in a giant truck is enough for me, I don't plan on doing any drag racing in an escalade. The exhaust would be purely for that nice american V8 rumble I love to hear so much, and to let people know I'm coming. |

I put a Corsa in my Corvette and pland to do the same for my CTS-V. I know loads of Corvette folks that have installed both Borla and Corsas. Borla does have a meaner sound and better perhaps of you want the rumble but on long rides you've got the resanance from the inside to deal with. The Corsa with it's "PowerPulse" technology eliminates the "droan" from inside the car. Makes it more drivable. Personally, I would use Borla on a sunny weekend type toy and stick with Corsa for anything I drive daily or want to take long cruises in. |
