Picked up an '05 Escalade with all the options but nav. Put a whopping 30 miles on it tonight, with another 30 coming first thing tomorrow. It's certified, so it's good to go for 100k.

Thanks guys. Made my first commute in over the 50 minute trip this morning and it was quite a change from the GTO I traded in on the Escalade. I'm still missing that passing power and road-hugging, but I'm not missing the spine-jarring over bumps and the bug-like feeling when passing semis. I think the Caddy will grow on me more and more though.

The guys at the dealership were a little insulted when I referred to it as a "minivan".

Thanks for the invite. I actually live and work in Ft. Lauderdale during the week and Boca on the weekends, so I'm not all that far from you on weekends.

Don't think I'll be able to make the meet. I have a state IDPA shooting match that weekend in Orlando.
