not sure if i believe this and i am definitely not going to try that on our baby.... thought you all would want to know about this anyway.... wonder if its true.... |

They been driving like that for years. Until they found out all they have to do is ground the e-brake wire, and it'll bypass it.
But like i said, these are for the aftermarket dvd headunits. As for stock nav/dvd, i dont know. |

But first, put the gear on drive, then click the ebrake once, and if the truck moves, then it should "probably" be okay.
BUT, if that one click holds the truck back, then don't do it, because most likely, its catching on the rotors/brakes and it will mess your sh*t up.
I'm not telling you to do it, i'm just here to voice my opinions. |

I'd like to think that someone would have figured that out and fabricated a simple toggle switch to ground out the emergency brake rather than creating a complicated lockpick which screws with your vehicle's communication system and requires you to touch your window button 4 times, pat your head, rub your tummy and chant "Bob Lutz" prior to engaging. I'm skeptical. |

I was hoping that was the ticket!!! |
