Mirror cap came off, almost got killed...

Ok, So I'm drivin on the Pennsylvania Turnpike with my wife heading to our first baby doctor's appointment (she's pregnant with our first) and all of the sudden this huge chink of retread tire come flying at my windshiled. The piece of rubber was about 3 feet long & about a foot wide. I swerved hard & it caught my mirror on the drivers side. It took th ecolor matched cap with it too... Anybody know where I can get another one already painted? If not I was thinking about getting the chrome one, any recomendations for the chrome ones? I was thinking about the full chrome caps not the small ones.

man, glad to hear you, your wife, and unborn child were alright and the damage to the caddy was minimal. Amazing how fast things happen on the highway. As for the caps, you could try fleabay, maybe on of the site sponsors carries them?

Well at least no one was hurt, sorry about your accident. Try E-bay or a junk yard, I think if you get a new one they have to be painted, but not 100% sure of that.

Thanks guys, it's scary & happened so fast... I'll find something, you know how it is, you keep you truck looking right all the time, when something is wrong you want it fixed yesterday...
