I have been pretty busy lately. | Nah, thanks anyway. Looks like the info provided by gm_geek will do the trick. I understand how busy we can get. I am still looking for a break (aside from all the rain we have been having) in my schedule to actually fix this.
But thanks for the reply! |

my computer drive took a dump and I lost the pics that we posted for the audio diagram for the 02 lade.
Would one of you be kind enough to re-post them. This time I shall print them for my records.
Thanks |

I have an 02 and was not aware I was pumping 11 or 13 speakers. I'm going to go count/check when I get off work. I was not aware of any being in the console although I did hear mention on here that there is a sub in the console somewhere.
Any help is highly appreciated. |

Any help is highly appreciated. | There are 11 on my 02.
For the front (6 total - 2 on door, 2 on center console, and 2 tweeters on the pillar).
For the rear (5 total - 2 on door, 2 on rear pillar, and 1 subwoofer on the left rear panel.)
The sub on the center console are on later models... |

| | Cadillac Owners Member Cadillac(s): Cadillac | | | | | Re: 2002 Lade audio I'm having similar problems with my 2002 Escalade. No volume to speak of and left rear door speaker is out. This morning I drove my son's 2003 Denali and it BLEW my Escalade system away. The Denali has more volume at 30%-40% than I have a 100%. How can I test the Bose unit to see if it has a problem? Where can I send it to to have it serviced? Should I simply replace it with an aftermarket amplifier??? All input will be appreciated!!! |

I've had many BOSE systems (Grand Cherokee, SL500, Corvette, S'clade) and swapped out the drivers with Infinity. A world of difference.
Oh, BOSE doesn't really have a sub, its more of a sloppy base since it should sound punchy...not boomy. A sub should 'hit' and disappear unless its cross'd over to high due to lack of a decent bass driver.
For now, I'll probably just swap that 'sub' out if I can find a decent replacement since these are odd sizes in the vehicle. Most of our drivers are 6 3/4; However, the sub 'may' be an 8" (not sure on that one).
Anyway, where are the 2 in the Center Console ? That'd be between the seats on an 02 ? I count 9 drivers without these. Quote:

One of my rear speakers has gone out and I need to replace it. Haven't been able to find a how to remove the trim panels or any diagrams. If anyone has 04 info that they can send that would be great.
Thanks |

I will send you instructions on how to remove the door panels. You wont need the wiring diagram to replace the speakers. If you plan to come up anytime soon. Call me and I will put them in for ya dirt cheap. Also being a custom shop I can get you top knotch speakers for the same price of the cheapest garbage speakers out. I get the same speakers Best buys sells for 199 a pair for 36-56 dollars at my wholesale discounted cost. Kickers or Pioneer sound really nice in the rear doors. PM me if you need my number again.
**To be honest with you I'd just replace the door speakers all the way around, you will really appreciate the better sound quality you'll get doing it**
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!! |

I was up with a friend in your neck to of the woods today and we almost stopped over to see you, but we ran out of time had to get back before the rush. I wanted to show him your shop and the great work you guys do there. We will come by again. I would like to take you up on the speaker offer. I am sure you know what it needs. I am working two problems, one is both rear doors lock and rear gate/door will do not work electric wise. second, no power at any sig lighters. I have checked fuses all are fine. However looking at the fuse panel attached are some pics. I belive I may be missing the fuse blocks. Not sure If you or anyone knows please let me know. helpless:
