Got my alarm Wet!!.. Question...

Remove this ad
last night i was drinking a little with some friends, next thing you know i get thrown in the pool with my Clifford 50.5x alarm pager in my pocket. I get out thinking i left my keys on the counter and reached in my pocket and it was soaked. I took it apart and let it dry, its still drying today, and i just put a battery in, it starts up and displays everything but when i press lock and unlock it doesnt do anything. i was wondering if i would have to reset the buttons, or something. Everything works, it just doesnt respond because i think it got reset or something. But if anyone has had the same type of experience please let me know what to do. thanks

Re: Got my alarm Wet!!.. Question...

if everything is powering up then i think the remote just has to be set to the alarm on your car.. there is a procedure for this.. check the alarm manual.. there should be a part that tells you how to program it..

Re: Got my alarm Wet!!.. Question...

the installer would be best in case its not as simple as just reprogramming.. but if you do a search on yahoo or whereever you should come up with instructions on how to reprogram..
