    Thanks
You have to grind the lower ball joint bolt/nut to put the sock 17's back on.
The rear is springs and lower shock mounts relocation brackets.
BTW i reccomend you only use the spindle kits for the front. The lowering key's will max out your alignment specs. my friend couldn't get his Lade aligned within specs because of the lowering keys.

I have heavy duty 18s for winter [lots of skiing] with Nitto Terra Grapler tires [awesome - plug] and 22s with very poor tires for summer. The 18s have a very thick inner lip on the rim so I had to grind the lower ball joint nut; as described. I bought the 18s 'cos I was told the stock 17s dont work with the kit and ended up grinding anyway, but it seems with grind I could have kept the stock 17s now. 18s were nice anyway. And the nicest thing? I kept both sets of wheels for the new 07 Escalade when I traded the old Denali in.

sorry for digging into a very old thread, and could not see pictures

anyway, I was planing to do the same thing on my 05 Escalade Base. Just wondering if this kit will also fit base model? The McGaughy's part number is 33047 (Deluxe lowing kit).

Also I did a lot search, seems the lowest price is around $480. Anybody got a good deal recently?

    thank you

I used the same kit and you don't have to bend the sensor rods. gently pull off one end and cut the rod at the grove. glue the end cap back on and this trick,s the computer . I did not use the 2 inch keys for the front, I used the factory keys just lowered and got a perfect alignment.

TLMC, many thanks. Still seems a little bit tricky to me. Do you have step by step instruction that can be shared with me?
