QuestionRemote control/keyless entry for '99 Escalade?

We're currently searching for additional keyless entry remotes for a 1999 Escalade. Transmitter Part # ( GM: 16245100-29, FCC ID: AB01502T, CANADA: 218101368).

We're can these be purchased? Is eBay a safe place?
Does anyone have any programming experience and if so, where can the instructions be found?

    Thanks a bunch!

I've bought mine at eBay for 2 FOBs for only 11 bucks. The only problem is that when you tried to program it as it states in the manual, it may not work. Cause the 2 FOBs that I've bought will not program. Then I just took it to the dealership and they hooked it up to the computer and programmed it for only 20 bucks.

I bought mine on eBay also. Didn't get around to programming them until the wife misplaced her keys. I didn't want to be in a situation with only one set of keys, so I went to the dealer and had 2 extra sets of keys made and program the remotes. It wasn't that expensive. When the dealer was doing the work, they discovered something wrong with the On-Star system that screwed things up. Fixed everything under warranty, but it took 2 trips to get it all done. I'm not real fond of everything being integrated between the security system and the On-Star system. Of course as soon as I paid for 2 sets of keys, the wife finds hers.
