Bose radio wiring harness, where do I get one???

Someone changed the radio from the factory Bose to an aftermarket. I went to change it back but one of the plugs was cut off, the bigger of the two... I can't find one anywhere. Even the dealer said I'd have to buy an entire new harness which would cost near a grand! Help.....

You might beable to get a harness from one of the radio replacement connectors. I have one laying around that I will never use again. I'll take a look and see if it has all of the wires because some only have connectors for a few.

What Harness do you need? Just the 24 Pin or the 12 Pin or Both?

Second Question is if the factory speakers are intact along with the factory amp?

JP Customs sells some harnesses and might beable to help you also. Their site is JP Customs - Specializing in Chevy, GMC, Cadillac & Hummer Accessories.. I would give them a call and see because they sell the harnesses to put the Navigation Radio into vehicles like the Silverado using the Escalade/Denali harness.

The harness I'm missing is a 20 pin, it's the bigger of the 2. The factory amp & speakers are still intact. I'll try JP Customs... Thanks for the help. If you have the right harness I'd be more than happy to pay for it.

Actually I didn't look to see that you have a 2002 you're right they have I believe at 20 and a 9 pin harness. Which I dont have. If JP Customs says they can't do anything then look at one of the Aux Input adapters or the Cellphone Mute interfaces they should have the Female connector that you are missing. Worst case would be to go to a junk yard and clip one out of a wreck.

this is what you do. go to the Best Buy. and ask for radio reverse harness for your vehicle. and then you can connect it with the one in your car. the reason why best buy, they are the only one i know caries those type of harnesses. if you'll need a diagramm for your wires that are cut, let me know, and I e-mail it to you

I'll be very surprise if best buy in your area don't have it. here in san diego they do. i buy them sometimes from them, when I need to fix harnesses,metra / scosche/ AI makes them. you can also go on their web site and get correct part #, so when you go to buy one,the installer will not sell you the wrong one.$15.99 plus tax.
or go to junk yard and clip one. and then all you have to do is just match colors. but be careful, a think on 02 lade few wires are the same color, I know one of them should be illumination wire. you can test it with a test light.
