Me too... so if I do the same thing, you'll know who I was inspired by.

Thanks guys! Go to it, it's easy. The paint is just the standard body paint (sold by the half pint at auto paint stores)- base color, pearl coat, clear coat, sprayed over plastic primer. My local store will even (for a price, of course) load them into spray cans if you don't have access to a gun.

Beware if you have the silver/grey lettering on yours to use low tack masking tape or it will peel up the silver paint; I had to do a little touch-up.

You could also leave the pieces with a body shop who would probably do it cheap, especially if they had cause to already be spraying your color on somebody else's vehicle.

And if you've got more time than I have, you could smooth out the texture of the covers by spraying them with a surfacer and sanding them till smooth for a really great look- my guesstimate is about 5 hours labor and a couple of spray cans of primer/surfacer. I now wish I would have done this...

Except for the painted grill (and I would like to clear my headlights), the outside is totally stock. I may experiment with some pinstriping tape before striping it. And I'd like to either paint the tonneau's, or better, go to a custom single piece like this one.

I'd love to have some nice wheels, but not enough to have it become more of a target. Also, it's used for (Rocky Mountain) regional road trips and I wouldn't want the rougher ride; our Colorado roads are already crappy enough.
isnt that some chick's escalade who works for babyphat?
    still a nice truck though

I love the engine of your truck though, really nice
I also want that single cover for the bed.

Yes, it is the babyphat ext. I wrote to the shop that she credits for the tonneau, but didn't hear anything back. I think someone could make these; there'd be a lot of EXT and Avalanche owners who would want one.

Re: Let's see some escalade pics

Here are some new pictures I took this past week. I finally used my digital camera, not the phone. Haha. Anyways, let me know what you all think. I am looking into a lowering kit, probably a McGaughy 2/3. Any other suggestions would be great.

    Thanks.

Looking good.. Some chrome tow hooks and clearing of the front lights would add some appeal to your Escalade as well.

I agree. I am probably going to acquire some 24's or 26's in a couple of months. Either a set of 24" Cabo wheels or a set of 26" Lexani wheels. I think I can get a better deal on the 24's though.

    Thanks.

Very true. I think I will buy a set of tow hooks. I have seen a few on some Escalade's and it looks great. A friend of mine with an EXT hit a mailbox and knocked off one of his amber reflectors in the headlight basically clearing it out and I thought it looked better. Haha. I will look into that too.

    Thanks.

Talking Re: Let's see some escalade pics

Here's my 2000 stock wonder in some 285/75R16 Nitto Grappler All Terrains.

Pretty much the only thing other than the whited out signals and grille that is custom is my license plate. I have a Customized Alaskan Veteran license plate.

And let me tell ya, its pretty much a get out of jail free card. I got pulled over doin 61 in a 35 and let off. In fact, the cop called me Dude and Bro. For once in my life a cop was nice to me!

Georgeous! I especially like the blacked tinted (I assume) headlights and the grille. How about a head-on shot?
