Is it a simple Plug and Play with a little motifications or very difficult ? Also do I have to change the whole set or just get the Light bulbs and Phillips Ballasts ? |

I have HID's in my high beams and my stock fog lights are HID's as well, and the 03's comes with stock HID low beams. If you want to do your low beams you will need the 9006 kit which is nothing more than the HID bulbs and the ballasts, just make sure to get a brand name like Philips or Sylvania. You may want to contact this guy, I have purchased several items from them and always get good service. http://www.hyperlights.com/ |

All have to do is put them in and change the fuse to the same amp as the 03 and give it power and ground and i should be good ? Don't want to buy them and be stuc wth them cause they wouldn't work. |

Not that the wiring mod would be difficult, but you wouldn't be able to just plug them in and go. For the HID, you should just be able to cut the plug off for your low beam and splice the wires into the input of the ballast. |

The 02 reflectors have different optics & bulb shield than the 03 & newer reflector. Yes you can drop in a rebased HID bulb, but you will also have alot of unwanted glare that can be danagurs to oncomming drivers. I really would suggest doing this if you care about blinding people. Its wores on a SUV/truck since they already sit higher than cars.
The 03 & newer headlights will fit the 02, but as stated, you will need to make a few wiring mods. Plugs H & J on the headlight harness will need to be removed from the plug & wired to the ballast. That is the hardest part (not hard at all, but the rest is easy). All you have to do next is mount the ballast, install the lights & your done. You might have to change the fuse to a highter amp as I dont know if the non-HID lades you the same amp as the ones with HIDs. |
