Yeah, I get that they all have LED's, but I am talking about the day time running lights. Red circle in pic. It seems when I was looking, the non HID had rows of LED and the HID had a bulb...
Buy aftermarket headlight housing made for HID, pull the bulbs and wiring out of the old housing and put them in the new housing. The HID cable was a little challenge. This is also a good time to put in new HID bulbs if you don't know the age of the old ones.
i like these but the only negative is the halos are cheap led rings so you cant see them lit up at all during day only at night. so im going to order one of the other 2 since theres only 3 choices for this truck.

I am going to post pics of mine with the led drl bulbs I have in soon.
I have to say they make a world of difference on winding back roads where deer tend to roam.
I have to ask how many of you guys are no longer using the fog lights since the low beam of the new housings does so well?
I rarely use mine as I can't tell when they are on(yes I have hids in the fog lights)
anyone change out their factory low beam hid bulbs and fog lights to LED's using the factory headlamps? If so can you share manufacture, model#'s and pics? I like the color of modern LEDs as well as the performance output.
MY 2006 with OEM style blacked out headlights and LED DRL/signal/fog lights.
