2000 Escalade - Passenger side hood flutter
The passenger side of my hood doesn't close down with enough pressure and tends to flutter when driving at highway speed. I've tried adjusting the bumpers, but that only pushes the hood noticeably out of line with the fender line. The drivers side is fine, but I can't get the passenger side to work out. I've never had an accident, so I don't know how the hood could have bent out of shape if that is the cause.
Can I adjust the latch mechanism at the front and lower it, so it looks the hood farther down or is that not possible. I would adjust the bumpers accordingly. Anyone else see this?

Re: 2000 Escalade - Passenger side hood flutter
You're talking about the little bumpers on springs right, on the far right and left above the headlights? Been there, done that. If I adjust up the passenger side one to stop the flutter, it pushes up the right side of the hood and it has a nice gap on the fender line. I'm trying to avoid that so that hood is nice and flush but not fluttering on the right side.
