    02 6.0 escalade rough idle hesitation

    I have an 02 escalade 6.0 awd.. started with a moderate hesitation and rough idle. Replaced plugs wires cleaned maf put lucas fuel injector cleaner in... everything done made a considerable difference but still ideling rough to where it almost stalls at times and a mild hesitation now.looked for vacume leak couldnt find anything. It is throwing codes po101 and po430 any help would be appreciated thank you

    P0101 is for the mass air flow sensor

    P0430 means catalyst system low efficiency bank 2

    Replace the mass air flow sensor(if using a k&n air filter swap it out for oem) that will fix the first code

    The second code is likely for the catalytic convertor(likely plugged or bad)

    Thank you for the input... That was the direction was heading in was hopeing may have been just an 02 sensor though alot cheeper .. But have an appt thur to have 2 new converters installed.

    Didnt replace the converters I gutted them and welded them back up. After that I put anti foulers on the down stream 02 sensors. took it for a test drive and the truck sounds amazing and is back to the power that it shuould have... thank you for your help

    Curious where you got the anti foulers?
    I think I may have this done if mine starts doing like this

    The anti foulers it takes 4 of them. drill 2 of them out so that your 02 sensor fits in to it I used a 9/16 drill. Screw the o2 sensor into the drilled out anti fouler and screw that into the antifouler thats not drilled out and install in your down pipe. Worked like a charm no issues with any check engine lights yet
